The great thing with Straight Talk is that you can buy a new phone and upgrade whenever you like. As you say, you can actually get a Straight Talk phone free. I now have a Nokia E71 smartphone with Straight Talk, and it only costs $45 a month to operate.

I've just bought 2 Straight Talk phone cards for $30 each and got free LG220c phones with each card - These flip phones have got mobile web, bluetooth, downloadable ringtones and graphics and are great gifts for the kids or for emergency phones.
